Healthy Snacks

How Much Veggies Should a Guinea Pig Eat?

Total Veggie Amount:
1 cup (about 80–100g) of fresh vegetables per pig per day
(Split into 2 servings if possible—morning & evening)

How to Balance that 1 Cup

Snack Time Is Bonding Time

Healthy snacks are a great way to build trust and show love. But not all treats are created equal! Some are piggy-pleasers, while others should be avoided entirely.

 Tips:

  • Introduce new veggies slowly to avoid digestive upset.

  • Wash all produce thoroughly to remove pesticides.

  • No dressing, oil, or seasoning—just raw, fresh produce.

  • Watch for signs of bloating, diarrhea, or pickiness.
